Message in a Bottle began on a deep sea-green backdrop, the colour of quiet coves and hidden tides. Upon it, I scattered heirloom roses, ivory anemones, lilac hyacinths, and blushing tulips—each bloom like a handwritten line in a love letter set adrift. Recycled glass vessels peek between the petals, hinting at stories sealed long ago and delivered on gentle waves.
Every stem was sourced locally and styled by hand, then captured through my lens in natural light to preserve their honest textures. As with all Whimsical Duchess creations, this design is proudly South African in craft and spirit, yet it carries a universal longing: the hope that beauty, like a message in a bottle, finds the right heart at exactly the right time.
